a story of Pon and Zi

ladies and gents,
let me introduce you to Pon and Zi..

Pon and Zi are two emo cartoon characters created and illustrated by Jeff Thomas.
Firstly drawn on 2004, these characters were originally gray and nameless, and put in violent but humorous situations.

After being in his first serious relationship on late 2004, the characters consequently became less violent and found themselves in relationship-themed comics.
He decided to assign each character with a color because gray didn't seem to convey love very well.

He wanted to avoid giving either characters a gender because he wanted everyone to be able to relate to every comic. Blue and yellow seemed to work best, so he stuck with those two colors.

However, they still needed names. Minimalist characters should have minimalist names, so he named the blue one Zi, and the yellow one Pon, and it worked.

Since then, the style used to draw the comics has changed subtly, but they've always been created in basically the same way.

I've seen his work for quite a while,but just recently exposed to his real identity. Since then, i cant stop my self from searching his masterpiece.

From his numerous pieces of art, these are the pictures that I love the most.

These first there are in my best of the best category.

This one is originally titled "Heaven and Hell". And i put this one as the first most favorable picture.

And this one is originally titled "Pretend". Maybe i like this because it's just reflecting my feelings.

And lastly, the one with the title "Heartbeat". This one is just too sweet for not chosen as my favorite
